- Q. What materials can be used to make a master/pattern?
A. Any material can be used, some examples are clay, plaster, concrete, paper mache, wood, wax, paper and cardboard may also be used, if in doubt just contact us - Q. How long/how many castings will the moulds make before degrading?
A. this depends on which material is used for the mould and what material is used in the casting, a silicone rubber mould used with plaster for casting will last indefinitly but the same mould used with resin or polyurethane for casting may only last about 50-100 casts - Q. How much would the average mould cost?
A. This is impossible to answer, it depends so much on what the item is, when you have a specific item eg shape, size, material etc it is best to contact us, the more information you can supply the more accurate will be the costing - Q. How long does it take to make a mould
A. Usually 2-3 weeks to complete most jobs but a time scale will be discussed when the details are finalised - Q. Do you agree to keep all information confidential
A. Yes, we are fully aware that when customers are developing new products a cirtain level of Paranoia can exist and we agree to any and all limitations placed on customer information/designs - Q. Do you do renovations, I have a statue/moulding that needs repairs but I dont need a mould
